Find Hope.

Safe Helps exists to prevent suicide, to educate about the road that leads to suicide, and to comfort suicide survivors.

Who We Are

Safe Helps Group rose from the ashes in 2023 when twenty-eight-year-old Abigail Witmer Ernst died by suicide. Abbie was the daughter of Pastor Tobe and Amy Witmer of Newark, Delaware. She was a brilliant, successful married woman who could not resolve several issues within. In the weeks following her death, Safe Helps Group was born with the mission of sparing others from such a fate and their loved ones from such horrific loss.
